New Moon in Pisces collective reading

This Reading pairs well with A Dreamy Solo amuse-bouche, Followed by a healthy serving of heart-Opening. Enjoy!

When I think of Pisces, I think softness, which isn’t to be conflated with weakness. Softness as in adaptable, Mutable. flowing with change… embracing it… savoring it… trusting the wisdom it brings and the clarity that reveals itself in the process.

Today’s New Moon in Pisces serves as a reminder that the tides are shifting. Change is here—change been here. And we make the most of it by accepting what is, and Taking the next natural Step forward. the urgency behind the kakistocracy’s movement suggests there’s a greater motivation behind their rapid actions. I mean these folks are grasping for control, pressed to strip away our rights and resources, and literally playing with our lives. It’s desperate, rushed, and messy. Smells like fear to me. it’s quite sad and pathetic when you think about it because As Andre Henry says, “It doesn’t have to be this way.” But here we are. Present and awake. Ain’t no more smoke and mirrors. Ain’t no more pretending we don’t see what’s happening. The game is obvious. And the energy we’re being asked to embrace is one of expansion, both emotionally and intellectually. New Moon In Pisces says: We move together, or not at all.

This moment is about union. The kind that requires us to dig deep into our bag of compassion and get serious about the practice of relating. The kind that centers aligned values and big dreams. The kind that Asks us to Take active steps towards collective wellness. Expansion requires intention. sovereignty requires responsibility And right now, that looks like Collaboration—Skillful, accountable and explorative collaboration for the betterment of the whole.

I know that collaboration and community are words that carry a lot of weight. Some of us may be feeling the weight of grief and anger as we witness rapid-fire chaos. depression and anxiety are natural responses as well. But if you find yourself overwhelmed, catastrophizing, or even placing blame on others for the current climate, Please take time to rest and self-reflect. There are way too many conversations happening on and offline where people seem to be positioning themselves as morally superior because they made the “right” political choice… Or because they practice the “right” religion… Or do the “right” amount of activism, in the way it “should” be done. Many of these conversations carry a vibration of blame, shame and guilt which only deepens the divide. The truth is that we all have a hand in what we’re experiencing collectively. We all can benefit from a pause and reset when this energy arises. rest can give us mental clarity, and when we have mental clarity, we can objectively self-reflect. And when we self-reflect, we can Look at the ways we’ve played ourselves (and others), take accountability for our role in current affairs and (hopefully) choose differently. Remember, We have an entity for an enemy. We need each other’s support in order to achieve the changes we desire, and that means learning how to build, repair and restore relationship is key.

grounding is also necessary for any collective movement. Tuning into ourselves allows us to get in touch with what our needs are. Our bodies are so intuitive and have various ways of communicating fear, anger, pleasure, discomfort, and Pain. By listening to the body and meeting it with warmth, nourishment, and compassion, we learn to trust ourselves (again). When we trust ourselves, it becomes easier to trust others. And when we trust others, we move in good faith, knowing that we share a desire to co-create and plan strategically. But first, we must slow down and tend to the home (the body). Then, we take intentional action.

The ancestors are saying that in order to understand what’s to come, we must look to history. Again, everything in nature is cyclical. We get to learn which traditions need to be retired, and which can be revived and/or reimagined. The codes for survival, for r(evolution) are embedded in our DNA. All we have to do is remember and get creative. Take some time to Talk to your elders this week.

Music is a wonderful tool for exploration. Because of its relationship with numbers, rhythm and patterns, It has the ability to shift the atmosphere. It inspires action, supports focus, sparks joy (or sadness), or it can put you to sleep. It is the one thing we know of as humans that for sure transcends space and time, the one thing that unifies. In fact, I came across a post on Threads recently that talked about the Ganga Longoba, an Afro-Cuban group that sustained connection with their ancestral lineage in Sierra Leone through song. The Impact music has is undeniable, and if nothing else, it reminds us that we, too, have the power to change the atmosphere.

Animals are also great teachers right now. They have a straightforward way of existing that doesn’t involve excess. They move through life with an intuitive understanding of its flow—simple, yet full of love. A question to ask oneself is: How is love driving my actions?

The Tyrannical Tangerine and his Regime are moving fast—but fast doesn’t mean well. Fast doesn’t mean sustainable. Nature always corrects imbalances and we must learn to move with it’s rhythm (and be patient with it). Cycles complete themselves (remember this is a 9 year), And there will be a fall. The question is: Are we ready to co-create with nature to bring forth a new earth?
